KPWCDT is dedicated to "striving to improve the quality of life for our community--where Sport, Health & Wellbeing nurture local people." Our Family Hub provides a welcoming, high-impact resource for families, offering family-centred and intergenerational learning opportunities that enhance the lives of young families in the Kiveton Park area. This will be part time, term time only. Temporary to permanent (funding dependant)

We are seeking a

Family Hub Coordinator

to lead the coordination and delivery of

Family-Centred Learning Activities

within our Family Hub. You will develop action plans, promote services, and ensure all activities are safe, accessible, and impactful. This is a rewarding opportunity to empower families, particularly those with specific needs, and to contribute to positive outcomes across the wider Rotherham area.

Key Responsibilities

Coordination & Delivery:

Lead the design and delivery of family-centred activities and early years/best start programmes.

Family Engagement:

Work closely with parents and carers to develop a strong community voice, including supporting our Parent & Carer Panel.

Service Development:

Plan and quality-assure group programmes, ensuring services meet high standards and evolving family needs.

Safe Practice:

Uphold safeguarding, health & safety, and risk assessment requirements.

Evaluation & Reporting:

Monitor impact, contribute to action plans, and produce timely reports.

Parenting Support:

Provide advice and coordinate parenting support programmes.

Partnerships & Volunteers:

Build local partnerships and mentor volunteers to strengthen family support networks.

Budget Awareness:

Contribute to the operational management of the Hub budget to ensure value for money.
Job Types: Part-time, Temp to perm
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: From 13.25 per hour

Expected hours: 16 per week
