hands-on, entrepreneurial Fashion Designer

to join our UK team with a core focus on

knitwear design

.

About the Role





This is a

high-impact individual contributor

role--ideal for a designer who's confident working independently, thrives in fast-paced environments, and brings deep creative energy to knitwear. You'll collaborate closely with our design team in multiple countries, business and sourcing teams to design products that are fashion-forward, commercially viable, and production-ready.

What You'll Do




Design and develop

knitwear collections

(primarily womenswear and/or menswear) from concept to production. Research seasonal trends, materials, and techniques aligned with global and UK market needs. Translate client briefs into compelling, production-ready designs. Collaborate closely with sourcing, merchandising, and product development teams across the UK, Europe, and Asia. Ensure your designs are aligned with cost, manufacturing feasibility, and lead time targets.



Who You Are




3-5 years of proven experience in

fashion design

, with a strong portfolio in

knitwear

. A self-starter with an

entrepreneurial mindset

--able to work autonomously and take ownership. Comfortable managing multiple projects under tight timelines. Adaptable, proactive, and open to feedback in a startup environment. Familiar with production processes, garment construction, and working with offshore factories. Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite, 3D design tools (a plus), and tech packs.



Nice to Have




Experience working directly with factories or suppliers in Asia or Europe. Knowledge of sustainable fabrics or responsible design practices. Exposure to client-facing presentations or working with sales/commercial teams.
