This exciting position is ideal for a candidate that has a 3-5 years' waiting experience and working in bars; who would like to take the next step up in their career working predominantly day time hours for a strong work-life balance. The F&B Bar and Cafe Supervisor leads on all food & beverage outlets within The Paddington Bear Experience, including but not limited to the Experience Cafe/Bar, Food Truck & food and drinks stall. All Supervisors within the attraction are cross trained to cover all elements of the experience, including retail, customer service and operations. We are looking for a charismatic, dedicated candidate with strong F&B experience, with a willingness to be flexible and an interest in working as a part of the team across the whole attraction.

DUTIES INVOLVE#
Customer Service
Lead by example offering the very best standards of guest service and product knowledge whilst inspiring the team to do the same.
Instruct and support the team to ensure a high standard of Customer Service and Experience for customers, as well as personally delivering and maintaining high standards of Customer Service to ensure a high quality experience for customers, upholding and representing the brand, IP and Gamepath Entertainment.
Actively meet and greet all visitors to The Paddington Bear Experience & proactively approach and interact with customers and assist with any queries they may have.
Go above and beyond to make the customer's experience special and memorable.
Minimise customer complaints by dealing with issues calmly, fairly and efficiently. Support your team for issues that require escalation
Represent The Paddington Bear Experience and The Path Entertainment Group.
Ensure you have extensive knowledge of our products, inform customers of offers, promotions and upsell opportunities to maximise their retail experience.
Report and handle accordingly in regards to any antisocial or problematic behaviour to the on-site security team and Venue Manager, to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all customers.
Effectively communicate customer rules, venue directions and experience instructions to enhance the experience for all.
Lead on assistance and support to customers with access requirements, communicating important operational information to the Show / Stage department
Food & Beverage
Ensure stock deliveries are received and unloaded in a timely and safe manner and support the F&B and Retail Managers or equivalent with stock counts.
Quality check food items, presentation, serving utensils and displays.
Preparing and serving food and beverage items to customers, following food safety procedures and allergen protocol.
Maintain compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards, ensuring that all operations meet regulatory requirements.
Cleaning food preparation areas and equipment.
Monitor sales and work as a team and lead by example, to achieve the set targeted KPI's for all secondary spend sales.
Manage inventory levels, wastage, and ensure proper storage and organization of food and beverage items.
Responsible for enforcing PCI compliance.
Supervise and coordinate the activities of the F&B Welcome Hosts, ensuring optimal performance and teamwork.
Assist in developing and implementing strategies to improve service efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Operations
Responsible for smooth daily operations of the department and team.
Ensure cleanliness and tidiness across the venue throughout the day. Taking a proactive approach to ensuring displays are well maintained, tables and floors are cleared, and any spillages/accidents are dealt with.
Manage bookings using the ticketing system, rescheduling ticket holders to minimise disruptions to the overall operation.
Handle all equipment accordingly and liaise with relevant providers if any issues arise, to minimise impact to customers and sales.
Report any technical issues with software and suppliers to the Venue Manager and Operations team.
Monitor the flow of visitors whilst ensuring the front of house areas are run within safe operation guidelines.
Ensure customer items, including but not limited to, buggies, bags, and coats are stored appropriately, respectfully, and safely.
Prioritise customer safety and lead on fire evacuation procedures.
Lead on communication liaison between the FOH department and the Show / Stage Department. Ensuring appropriate and important information is shared and received, working collaboratively between departments to resolve customer issues / codes.
General
Ensure you and your team adhere to the uniform policy and personal hygiene is kept to a high standard.
Ensure Health & Safety remains the number one priority.
Report any first aid, hazards or 'Near Misses' to your line Manager, and actively promote this approach amongst the team.
To do any reasonable duty as detailed by the management team of the attraction and support the operation as and when required.
Preferable Requirements:
Full UK driving licence (role may involve travel between venues or transporting materials)
