The Festival and Events Admin Assistant is an exciting role in the Public and Community Engagement team, who produce multiple events across our public engagement programme like the Imperial Lates and Great Exhibition Road Festival.
What you would be doing

You will be an integral part of the team supporting with admin, meetings, finance, event operations and logistics. You will also look after projects like volunteer recruitment, production schedules, partnership administration, recruitment of traders and event staff catering.
What we are looking for
---------------------------
Excellent administrative skills with proven experience working at an advance level
Excellent experience working with SharePoint, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Experience in event administration and event management
Understanding of finance in relation to maintaining budgets, raising POs and invoices, and matching transactions
Experience of recruiting and coordinating volunteers for public events
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong proactive team player who works well independently with the ability to manage workload to meet deadlines
Strong multi-tasker able to work across multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Experience of working with multiple internal and external stakeholders
Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
Interest in STEMb is beneficial for this role

Great Exhibition Road Festival: The postholder must be available to work on site every day three weeks before the festival, over the festival weekend, and one week after the Festival. Imperial Lates: The postholder must be available to work on site every day one week before the event, and one day after the event. Time off in Lieu can be claimed for out of hours working by prior agreement with Line Manager.
This is a full-time post (35 hours per week). This role is for a fixed-term contract for 36 months.
Interviews will be held between 16 - 21 October (may be subject to minor changes).
