JOB PURPOSE
The Field Care supervisor will report directly to the care manager. Working as part of a professional team delivering a high quality domiciliary care service, you will take responsibility for the day to day management of operations in the field. You will undertake client reviews and assessments & will provide leadership & supervision to care staff across all areas of operation.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Undertake scheduled spot checks and supervised visits on carers work and feedback effectively to support the training and development of team members.
Undertake client visits & reviews in line with the company's policies & procedures to facilitate a professional & personal care service which meets the client's needs.
Undertake moving & handling & risk assessments in line with the latest guidance & company policies to ensure clients safety & wellbeing & the safety of care staff.
Supervise and instruct staff members in all aspects of their work, giving help and guidance where appropriate and assisting manager to keep records up to date.
Provide care services to clients when required .
Conduct client assessments & reviews & produce client care plans.
Conduct staff supervision & appraisal meetings & manage issues.
Recruit, support & train carers to enable them to undertake their role safely & effectively
At all times, work to the company's core values, policies and standards at all times.
Work with the care team to ensure the best outcomes for clients at all times.
To respect and protect all confidential and commercially sensitive information.
Practice maximum integrity in all dealings with clients' personal & financial affairs
Understand and implement the requirements of the company's adult protection policies, including the suspension of staff from duties. Understand and implement the company's emergency situation procedures.
Participate in the on call rota to provide support to carers and clients at times when the office is closed.

All staff are required to respect the confidentiality of all matters that they might learn in the course of their employment. All staff are expected to comply with requirements under relevant Data Protection regulations.All staff must be familiar with Radfield Home Care Ltd's health and safety policies and procedures and ensure that they are aware of their responsibilities under the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 of which we can provide copies if needed.

All roles within the organisation have the potential to require contact with vulnerable service users and therefore all roles will be subject to enhanced DBS disclosure, a check against the Adult First register and satisfactory references from previous employers (or other suitable referees.)
The amendments to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (2013and 2020) provides that when applying for certain jobs and activities, certain convictions and cautions are considered 'protected'.
