About the Role
As a Field Care Supervisor, you will play a key leadership role overseeing the daily operations and performance of our support workers across various client locations. You'll be the vital link between management and the frontline, responsible for ensuring smooth service delivery, compliance, and staff wellbeing. This role will be based on a 60/40 split. Three days you will be in the community supporting our staff and customers with two days being on shift.

This job role also involves being part of the office team and conducting assessments of staff in the community.
We are looking for someone who is compassionate, respectful, and possesses excellent communication skills. You will need to have a background in care, ideally experience in being a Field Care Supervisor, completed NVQ Level 3, and have a positive attitude towards our values and the aspirations of those you will be supporting.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Support
Provide guidance, mentoring, and supervision to a team of support workers.
Conduct regular field visits, check-ins, and performance reviews.
Offer hands-on support during staff shortages or high-need situations.
Service Delivery & Quality Assurance
Monitor and maintain high standards of care aligned with regulatory requirements and organizational values.
Respond promptly to incidents, service delivery issues, and staff concerns.
Liaise with families, clients, and professionals to ensure individualized care plans are followed effectively.
Oversee onboarding and training for new support staff.
Monitor staff attendance, punctuality, and adherence to company policies.
Compliance & Reporting
Maintain accurate records, including incident reports, performance logs, and field visit notes.
Ensure compliance with health and safety protocols and safeguarding procedures.
Report on field activity, staff performance, and client feedback to management.
About You
Proven experience in a supervisory role within the social care, Mental Health, disability, or aged care sector.
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
Ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
Sound knowledge of relevant legislation and best practice in support work.
A current driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
Relevant qualifications in health, social care, or disability support (preferred).
Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
