LCCOS holds the UK Customer Service Excellence (CSE) Award, The National Archives (TNA) Archives Service Accreditation, and Arts Council England Museum Accreditation. The combined staff in UCL LCCOS totals around 440. LCCOS is part of the Office of the UCL Vice-Provost (Faculties).
The LCCOS Finance Team provides departmental support for LCCOS staff and manages the interaction between the Department and UCL Central Finance teams facilitating aspects of operational finance administration. The team is also responsible for supporting various budget holders and provide information to support the Senior Management Team in their decision-making processes.
About the role
To be responsible for administering the financial transactions within the department. The role holder must ensure these are processed promptly and accurately in accordance to UCL's Financial Regulations.
They will support the Finance Officers and assist the Finance Manager with the day-to-day, month end and year end duties. Working in a team to deal with general queries in a timely manner. They will be the key contact for the UCL Press team daily operations.
This is an internal secondment role/Acting up, available to current UCL staff only.
This is a fixed-term role until 31/05/2026 in the first instance. We will consider applications to work on a part-time, flexible and job share basis wherever possible.
This role is eligible for hybrid working with a minimum of 20% on site.

This role does not meet the eligibility requirements for a Skilled Worker Visa certificate of sponsorship under UK Visas and Immigration legislation. Therefore, UCL will not be able to sponsor individuals who require right to work in the UK to carry out this role.
About you
We are looking for candidates who in particular have the following experience and skills: Experience of finance administration, good use of Excel, attention to detail and willingness to be an effective team member.
