The Living Room Cinema is a vibrant cinema company which has two cinemas in Liphook and Chipping Norton. A welcoming home from home at the heart of the community, we are a local cinema like you've never experienced before. We care about our surroundings, our environment, our experience and our people, but most of all we care about our guests.
We have an opportunity for a finance assistant to join our ever-expanding team to support the Financial Controller and wider management team with the financial aspects of running the business.
The Finance Assistant will be in charge of the day to day financial functions for our two cinemas, supplying information both internally and also to external creditors and service providers ranging from film studios to ice cream suppliers.
This is a part time role of 20 hours per week, spending roughly half of the time on each cinema.
The film business is quirky, fun and rewarding, and we are looking for someone with passion, personality and the desire to immerse themselves in the industry to join the team. We have expansion ambitions and so this role has guaranteed career progression as the company grows and opens additional cinemas. It would particularly suit an ambitious learner at the start of their finance career or an experienced bookkeeper who can hit the ground managing work alongside childcare responsibilities.
This role is a hybrid role, but the successful candidate must commit to spending at least 12 hours at the cinema weekly, 6 hours on a Tuesday and 6 on a Friday, so that they can work alongside the wider finance and executive team.
Role Responsibilities:
Processing invoices on Xero
