Job Summary



Furniture Warehouse is a rapidly expanding furniture retailer with 8 stores across the East Midlands, specialising in high quality, low cost furniture and accessories for every room in the home.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance and Human Resources Administrator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting various Finance and HR functions, ensuring efficient operations and contributing to a positive workplace culture. This position requires strong communication skills and proficiency in Finance and HR systems.

Duties



Manage employee records and maintain the HRIS database, ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality. Manage Purchase Ledger entries. Manage employee expenses. Assist in the recruitment process by coordinating job postings through ATS platforms such as Indeed. Support onboarding processes for new hires, including conducting orientation sessions and preparing necessary documentation. Facilitate communication between employees and management regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits. Conduct data entry tasks related to employee information, payroll, and performance management. Conduct data entry tasks related to finance processes. Manage social media accounts for employer branding and recruitment purposes. Provide administrative support to the HR team, including scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and maintaining files. Assist with employee engagement initiatives and training programmes.

Skills



Proficiency in HR systems Proficiency in Finance systems Organised Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organisation. Excellent data entry skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in records management. Previous administrative experience within a finance and/or human resources environment is highly desirable. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Salary: 26-28k
Contract: Permanent & full time.
Location: On-site

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 26,000.00-28,000.00 per year
