We are seeking an experienced part time Finance Manager. Salary dependant on experience.

We are looking to recruit an experienced book keeper or accountant to work 20 hrs a week over two days to manage our Finances. You will be working in collaboration with the Managing Partner and Management Team to ensure the business is running efficiently, effectively and is compliant and profitable.

This is a senior role so you should be experienced and confident; you should be able to work autonomously, problem solve, and be able to develop your own systems and processes to manage your work. You will have full accountability for managing the bookkeeping, maintaining Quickbooks and monitoring cashflow and forecasting. You will regularly report to the Managing Partner and work collaboratively with our external accounting firm to ensure an accurate set of end of year accounts.

You will also administer payroll and pensions. Working closely with other members of the Senior Management Team to ensure we are compliant, staff are well supported and policies and procedures are followed. You will not be directly line managing team members but as part of the Senior Management Team you may be required to assist with on the day problem solving which will require calm, patience and confidence.

The hours will be required over two days. You will need to be part of the management team on site, in order to provide sufficient management cover across Monday to Friday.

Prerequisites:



Appropriate qualification in Bookkeeping or Accounting (or working towards) Experience of using accounting software to a high level Good knowledge and experience in adminstering payroll and pensions Knowledge of Data Protection and Record Keeping Experience with Primary Care finance (desirable but not essential) Please be aware that to ensure patient safety there are essential pre-employment checks to be conducted including referencing and a Disclosure and Barring Service check.

Pay: 18.00-22.00 per hour
