Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Finance Officer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial services and have experience in accounting software Sage 50. This role involves managing financial records, overseeing accounts payable, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

Responsibilities

Maintain accurate financial records and prepare financial reports. Oversee accounts payable processes, ensuring timely payments and accurate record-keeping. Utilise accounting software such as Sage 50 to manage financial transactions. Conduct data entry tasks to ensure all financial information is up-to-date and accessible. Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and internal policies. Perform reconciliations of bank statements and other financial documents as required.

Requirements

Proven experience in a finance-related role. Proficiency in accounting software including Sage 50. Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and general accounting principles. Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. AAT qualification Level 3 or 4.

Pay: 27,000.00-30,000.00 per year
