Role: Financial Accountant

Compensation: Up to \xc2\xa355,000 annually

Location: Birmingham

Work Setup: Hybrid Work Model

As a Financial Accountant, you will wield a pivotal role in upholding the company\'s financial integrity. Your duties include;

• Submitting statutory financial statements for designated entities.
• Orchestrating month-end balance sheet reconciliations and handling fixed asset operations, including depreciation.
• Overseeing budgets for outsourced statutory compliance endeavors.
• Preparing audit materials and promptly addressing matters aligned with SOX regulations.
• Collaborating closely with the Financial Controller to interpret and implement emerging accounting standards.
• Proficiency in navigating and applying statutory adjustments under IFRS in contrast to US GAAP.
• Conducting in-depth analysis of financial statements and providing perceptive commentary.
• Furnishing support for EU VAT filing.
• Conducting analysis of Import and Export Duties.
• Managing matters concerning Intercompany and Transfer Pricing.
• Undertaking currency and exchange rate analysis, along with select ad hoc treasury responsibilities.
• Spearheading impromptu accounting ventures to propel process enhancements.
• Making substantial contributions to process documentation and enhancement initiatives spanning finance and the broader enterprise.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent).
• Background steeped in audit, with a preference for exposure to auditing sizable corporations.
• Profound technical acumen encompassing accounting standards, including IFRS and US GAAP.
• Attentive to detail, showcasing a fervor for meticulousness in financial reporting.
• Exceptional communication skills for effective interaction across cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in utilising accounting software and the MS Office Suite.
