Are you a problem-solving financial analyst? Stoke-on-Trent College has a vacancy for a Financial Accountant to join our dynamic team. With new facilities planned at both College sites, now is an exciting time to be joining a small, dedicated and professional Finance Team.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for a wide range of duties, initially focusing on the College\'s Capital programmes and reporting on progress to senior management, but also including process improvement, VAT preparation and budget holder management. You\'ll have the opportunity to work with a diverse group of staff across learning environments and business operations, providing exceptional customer service and financial support.

The ideal candidate for this position will have a strong background in Financial/management accounts. You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and have excellent communication, report writing, and problem-solving skills.

You will possess a minimum of a relevant finance qualification or equivalent, experience of capital and major project reporting, and experience of working in a busy dynamic finance office.
