Financial Accounts Manager

to take ownership of our financial operations and help drive profitability and efficiency within our outlet.

Role Overview

As our Financial Accounts Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial processes, from daily transactions to monthly management accounts. You'll work closely with the owner and management team to provide accurate reporting, support decision-making, and maintain full compliance with UK accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and oversee day-to-day financial operations of the company. Prepare andreview service charge accounts, budgets, and forecasts. Monitor cash flow, income, and expenditure for Moj Masala and its branches and allocate payments accurately. Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports. Liaise with external auditors, accountants, and regulatory bodies. Oversee accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, and supplier payments.

Requirements

Part-qualified or fully qualified

Masters degree in accounting/ finance. Previous experience in

food service, hospitality, or restaurant finance

(essential). Strong knowledge of

UK accounting principles, VAT, and payroll

. Proficient in

accounting software

(e.g. Xero, Sage, QuickBooks) and

Excel

. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 35,000.00-47,000.00 per year
