Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Fire Stopper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing fire stopping systems in various construction environments, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and building codes. This role requires a strong understanding of construction practices and the ability to work with a variety of materials and tools.

Duties

Install fire stopping materials in walls, floors, and ceilings to prevent the spread of fire and smoke. Conduct inspections to ensure that all fire stopping installations meet safety standards and building regulations. Collaborate with other tradespeople, including carpenters, plumbers, and electricians, to ensure seamless integration of fire stopping systems. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to health and safety protocols. Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively for installation tasks. Assist in the fabrication of custom fire stopping solutions as required.

Skills

Proficient in carpentry, roofing, construction painting, plumbing, masonry, welding, and electrical experience. Strong ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Experience in fabrication techniques related to fire stopping systems. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Pay: 200.00-280.00 per day

Expected hours: 40 - 45 per week
