We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Fryer to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and cooking, with a strong understanding of kitchen operations. As a Fryer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our dishes are prepared to the highest standards, maintaining both quality and food safety.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook a variety of fried foods according to established recipes and standards.
Ensure all food is cooked to the correct temperature and served promptly.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the frying station, including regular cleaning of equipment.
Monitor inventory levels of cooking supplies and notify management when stock is low.
Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines to ensure a safe kitchen environment.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth meal preparation and service.
Assist in meal preparation for special events or large orders as needed.
Skills
Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a kitchen environment.
Strong culinary skills with an emphasis on frying techniques.
Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations.
Previous experience in a restaurant setting is highly desirable.
