We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Fryer to join our culinary team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and a strong understanding of food safety practices. As a Fryer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our dishes are prepared to the highest standards, contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

Duties

Prepare and cook various food items using frying techniques, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish. Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations at all times. Assist with meal preparation by chopping, slicing, and marinating ingredients as required. Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure that all food is cooked thoroughly and safely. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow and timely service during busy periods. Help maintain inventory levels of cooking supplies and notify management of any shortages. Participate in regular training sessions on culinary skills and food safety practices.

Requirements

Previous experience in a culinary role, particularly in food preparation or cooking within a restaurant setting, is preferred but not essential. Strong knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in meal preparation. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards helping others in the kitchen. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed. A genuine passion for cooking and delivering high-quality dishes to customers.

Pay: 13.00-15.00 per hour
