About the role



The FAMS Administrator provides guidance and mentorship to depot staff on the use of FAMS (Network Rail's Fleet Asset Management System). Liaises externally with Network Rail Materials Team.



Supports cost efficiency through inventory management.



Coordinates procurement of parts, consumables, office supplies, waste management and PPE.

What you'll be doing



Manage the Fleet Asset Management System (FAMS) for the Seasonal Treatment


MPV fleet.



Ensure all maintenance, asset, and inventory activities are accurately recorded,


tracked, and reported.



Assist with planned maintenance tasks, work order tracking, and inventory


management



Coordinate procurement and maintain asset information



Support process improvement and system updates



Adhere to all data management, reporting, and audit requirements as per contract



Support compliance with Network Rail and HSE standards

Who we're looking for



Experience in maintenance, engineering, or asset management (railway or similar


regulated industry preferred)



Strong IT skills especially MS Excel



Experience in asset/maintenance management systems


(FAMS, Maximo, SAP, or similar)



High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping



Ability to interpret technical maintenance documentation



Good communication skills



Must be prepare to work in the office 5x days a week (flexi-hours available 6am -2pm or 7am -3pm or 8am - 4pm)
