An established and growing transport company is seeking a meticulous and proactive Fleet Compliance Administrator to join its busy operations team. This is a key role in ensuring the company's fleet remains fully compliant with all legal and regulatory standards.

About the Role:



The Fleet Compliance Administrator will be responsible for managing vehicle compliance records, ensuring all vehicles and drivers meet operational and legislative requirements. You'll play a critical role in supporting safe and efficient transport operations.

Responsibilities:



Maintain accurate records for vehicle inspections, MOTs, services, and maintenance. Ensure driver files, licence checks, and CPC training records are current and complete. Monitor and resolve vehicle defect reports in a timely manner. Coordinate with workshops, drivers, and suppliers to schedule maintenance and repairs. Assist with audits and compliance reviews, including DVSA inspections. Stay informed on transport legislation changes and advise relevant stakeholders. Provide general administrative support to the transport team.

Requirements:



Previous experience in a fleet administration or compliance role, ideally in the transport or logistics industry. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Good understanding of transport compliance and regulations (e.g. DVSA, FORS). Effective communication skills and ability to coordinate with various departments.
