This flexible Support Worker opportunity is ideal for those who want to fit meaningful work around life's commitments. You will support young people who have experienced trauma, helping them feel safe, supported and ready for a brighter future.

We are looking for skilled, compassionate Bank Support Workers to join our highly regarded therapeutic children's residential home near Redhill. Every shift you work will contribute to positive outcomes for children aged 10-18.

Choose your availability and how often you work. From occasional cover to regular shifts, you decide.

Competitive Pay


Earn around 250 per 24.5-hour shift, including 60 sleep-in allowance.

Supportive Shift Pattern


10:00am-11:00pm, sleep-in, 7:00am-10:30am with full rest days in between.

Key Responsibilities



Provide warm, consistent residential childcare that meets individual needs Build positive and respectful relationships with young people Support routines including mealtimes, education, personal care and bedtime Encourage participation in therapeutic, social and recreational activities Respond to behavioural challenges with empathy, calmness and clear guidance Maintain accurate and professional records in line with safeguarding requirements Work effectively with permanent staff to maintain stability and continuity of care

What We Are Looking For



Experience in residential childcare or similar care settings Ability to support children with complex emotional and behavioural needs Clear communication, reliability and emotional resilience A trauma-informed and child-centred approach to care Full UK driving licence Flexibility to work full long-day and sleep-in shifts
