Okko is a chilled neighborhood sushi bar and izakaya, reminiscent of the vibrant establishments in Tokyo's Shimbashi district. We have been open for 10 years, and currently run 2 locations in East London. We're looking for friendly, reliable Floor Staff to join our growing team. This is a fast-paced environment where we care deeply about quality, service and hospitality.

Responsibilities:

Greet and serve guests with warmth, professionalism and efficiency Take orders, make drinks, and take payments accurately Be confident across all roles: serving, bar, pass, and food running Maintain a clean, ambient and well-prepared floor throughout service Advise guests on menu items, including specials and allergens Stay up to date with our food and drinks menus (daytime & evening) Support with stocktakes and inventories when needed Manage takeaway and delivery orders without impacting dine-in service Communicate clearly with the kitchen and team to ensure smooth service Flag any issues or customer feedback to the General Manager

Requirements:

At least 6 months' experience in hospitality or customer service Strong communication skills and a friendly, team-focused attitude Calm, efficient and solutions-focused under pressure - it's a busy restaurant Good spoken English and attention to detail Willing to learn and rotate across different front-of-house roles Comfortable with busy shifts, tight timing and high service standards
