Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Front of House Staff to join our dynamic team at St Cuthberts golf club. This role is both bar serving and food running, as well as being able to take orders. As a member of the team, you must be over 18 with some bar and food experience. Driving preferred. Summer shifts available.

Responsibilities

Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a warm and friendly atmosphere. Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, assisting with menu selections as needed. Take bar orders and fulfill them. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, ensuring tables are set and ready for service. Assist in managing the flow of service during busy periods, demonstrating excellent time management skills. Handle cash transactions and perform basic maths to ensure accurate billing. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery to guests. Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally, enhancing overall guest satisfaction.

Skills

Strong guest services skills with a passion for hospitality and customer care. Experience in a bar and or food environment is essential. Basic maths skills are necessary for handling payments and processing orders accurately. Knowledge of food safety practices to maintain high hygiene standards in the restaurant environment. Excellent time management abilities to efficiently handle multiple tasks during peak service hours. A proactive attitude towards helping both guests and colleagues in a fast-paced setting.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 12.21 per hour
