We're looking for an experienced and enthusiastic
Food & Beverage Manager
to oversee our
deli operation based within the Citibase Serviced Offices
. This is a key role managing the daily running of the site's cafe-style deli, serving busy office clients with fresh, high-quality food and drink, and ensuring a first-class experience every time. The ideal candidate must be a competent cook as this role involves the daily preparation and cooking of food.
The Role:
As the on-site Food & Beverage Deli Manager, you'll take ownership of the deli's performance--from operations and team leadership to customer satisfaction and stock control.
Daily Operations:
Lead the opening, setup, and smooth running of the deli, ensuring excellent service during busy breakfast and lunchtime periods.
Cooking:
Prep and cook the food for sale at the deli - making up sandwiches etc plus daily hot food specials etc
Client Engagement:
Be the friendly, professional face of the deli for office workers and visitors, building strong relationships and responding to client needs.
Team Management:
Recruit, train, and support deli team members to maintain a welcoming atmosphere and efficient service.
Menu & Presentation:
Work with our Site Manager to develop fresh, appealing menu options tailored to the office environment.
Stock & Cost Control:
Order supplies, manage stock levels, and control waste to maintain profitability and reduce downtime.
Health & Safety Compliance:
Ensure the deli operates to the highest standards of food hygiene, cleanliness, and safety at all times.
What You'll Bring:
Experience managing a cafe, deli, or small food retail outlet--ideally within a business, hospitality, or contract catering setting.
Experience in cooking
A people-first approach with great communication and customer service skills.
The ability to lead a small team, stay organised, and thrive in a hands-on role.
A strong understanding of food safety and kitchen hygiene practices.
Confidence with basic budgeting, stock management, and ordering systems.
