About the Role:



As a

Forest Camp Instructor

, you'll lead children through immersive outdoor adventures that promote environmental awareness, confidence, and teamwork. This hands-on role is perfect for enthusiastic educators, naturalists, and outdoor leaders who thrive in dynamic, forested environments.

Key Responsibilities:



Facilitate nature-based activities such as shelter building, plant ID, tracking, crafts, and games Teaching outdoor skills and ecological principles Support campers' emotional and physical safety through positive group management Encourage self-reliance, teamwork, and curiosity through experiential learning Daily camp operations including setup, cleanup, and transitions Communicate effectively with fellow staff, parents, and campers

Qualifications:



Level 3 Forest instructor qualification Experience working with children (ages 4-13 preferred) in an outdoor or camp setting Strong understanding of outdoor safety, Leave No Trace principles, and basic wilderness skills Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions CPR/First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain before start date) Background check required

Bonus Skills (Not Required, but a Plus):



Experience with forest school, bushcraft, or primitive skills Knowledge of local flora and fauna

11 - 14 Aug - 8am - 4pm

18 - 21 Aug 8am - 4pm

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 120.00-150.00 per day

Expected hours: 32 per week
