Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Surveyor to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset and be adept at interpreting data to provide accurate measurements and assessments for various projects. As a Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that land and construction projects are executed with precision, adhering to all relevant regulations and standards.

Responsibilities

Conduct land surveys to determine property boundaries, topography, and other physical features. Utilise specialised surveying equipment and software to collect and analyse data. Prepare detailed reports and maps based on survey findings for clients and stakeholders. Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other professionals to ensure project specifications are met. Review and interpret legal documents related to land use and property ownership. Maintain accurate records of surveys, including calculations, drawings, and reports. Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and advancements in surveying technology.

Requirements

A degree in Surveying, Geomatics, or a related field is preferred. Proven experience as a Surveyor or in a similar role is advantageous. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data effectively. Proficiency in using surveying instruments such as total stations, GPS equipment, and software applications. Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Good communication skills to liaise with clients and colleagues effectively.
