As a Notetaker, you will attend lectures, seminars, and tutorials--either in person or remotely--to produce high quality, comprehensive, structured notes that help students access content more effectively and independently.

Key Responsibilities:

Produce clear, well-structured, and comprehensive notes tailored to the student's needs and preferences. Deliver notes within a timely manner of the session. Maintain appropriate records of support and student engagement. Represent YorLinc in a professional manner and comply with all company and university policies and procedures. Engage in regular supervision.

Essential Requirements:

Excellent written English and strong typing skills. Ability to summarise and structure academic content quickly and accurately. University graduate or qualification in note-taking. Previous experience in a notetaking, academic support, or transcription role is desirable. Valid DBS/PVG

Additional Information:

Working hours will vary dependent on the needs of the students, and the number of the students you will be allocated to support in the role. A mixture of remote and in-person support will be required based on the preference of students. All applicants must be eligible to work in the UK, have internet access and a full driving license. A current DBS/PVG check is also preferred.
