Role Purpose:



Aisle 8 & Virginia & Partners are seeking an organised, proactive, and solutions-focused Office Manager to support the smooth running of a vibrant shared office space in St John's Square, home to three successful PR and Marketing agencies. This freelance role is central to maintaining an efficient, welcoming, and well-functioning workplace that enables the teams to thrive. You'll be responsible for the smooth day-to-day running of the office and will provide support across the agencies wherever needed.

Key Role Responsibilities and Accountabilities:



Reception & Showroom

Manage daily Royal Mail franking and recording. Receive deliveries and manage a postal system across the three agencies. Track and record products and samples moving in and out of the showroom.
Office & Facilities Management

Manage incoming/outgoing post and courier services, including tracking and recording. Oversee weekly (and occasional daily) kitchen supplies shop. Ensure hygiene and stock levels in toilets (sanitary products, towels, toilet paper, soap). Manage cleaners, water fountains, air conditioning, pest control, and plumbers as required. Handle minor facilities issues (toilet unblocking, floods, repairs). Manage office furniture purchasing, set-up, and printers/printing needs for meetings. Coordinate and manage health & safety requirements. Track and action office appointments/tasks with external providers.

Desired Skills & Experience:



Proven experience in office management, facilities coordination, or a similar operational role. Highly organised with excellent multitasking and prioritisation skills. Strong problem-solving ability and a proactive, can-do attitude. Comfortable managing external suppliers and building services. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to support teams and welcome guests. Tech-savvy with experience troubleshooting IT/phone issues and managing subscriptions. Discreet, reliable, and able to work independently. Ideally, experience within a creative, PR, or marketing agency environment (desirable).

Working Hours:



Tues / Wed / Thursday: 9.30am - 6pm

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary, Freelance
Contract length: 2 months

Pay: 250.00 per day
