Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Counter Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, assisting with food preparation, and ensuring smooth daily operations at our establishment. Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately Prepare and assemble food items in accordance with company standards and food safety regulations Serve customers at the counter, ensuring prompt and courteous service Upsell menu items to maximise sales opportunities Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the counter area and workstations Assist with stock replenishment and inventory checks as needed Follow all health and safety guidelines related to food handling and hygiene

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is advantageous Knowledge of food preparation and safety standards Strong organisational skills with effective time management abilities Basic maths skills for handling transactions and stock counts Experience in serving customers with professionalism and friendliness Kitchen or culinary experience is desirable but not essential Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment Flexibility to work during peak hours, including weekends if required
