Responsibilities
Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, providing a friendly and attentive atmosphere.
Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimise guest flow.
Take orders accurately and relay them to the kitchen staff promptly.
Serve food and beverages with attention to detail, ensuring presentation meets our standards.
Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism, striving for resolution and guest satisfaction.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including tables, menus, and service stations.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality control.
Assist in training new staff members as required, sharing knowledge of best practices.
Requirements
Previous experience in a customer-facing role is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a friendly demeanour.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment.
