We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Front of House Manager to oversee the daily operations of our hospitality establishment. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service, supervising staff, and maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness. Duties
Supervise and coordinate front of house staff ensuring smooth service delivery
Oversee food preparation and serving processes to maintain quality standards
Manage reservations, seating arrangements, and guest flow to optimise efficiency
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards across the establishment
Assist in training new staff members in customer service, food safety, and operational procedures
Handle guest enquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally to foster positive relationships
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless communication between front and back of house
Monitor cleanliness of dining areas, ensuring a welcoming environment at all times
Lead by example in delivering excellent hospitality services and maintaining a professional appearance
Requirements
Proven experience in restaurant or hospitality management, ideally with supervising experience in a similar role
Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking, and food safety standards
Previous experience in serving, hospitality, or hotel environments is highly desirable
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask under pressure
Knowledge of food production processes and kitchen operations is advantageous
Experience with restaurant or barista operations is a plus
Exceptional communication skills and a friendly demeanour to engage guests effectively
Ability to uphold high standards of cleanliness, safety, and customer service at all times
