We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Front of House Manager to oversee daily operations within our hospitality establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for excellent customer service, and a comprehensive understanding of food and beverage service. This role involves supervising staff, ensuring high standards of food safety, and creating an inviting atmosphere for guests. The successful applicant will play a pivotal role in maintaining the reputation of our venue through exceptional service delivery and team management.
Duties
Oversee the daily front-of-house operations, including reservations, seating arrangements, and guest relations
Supervise and motivate front-of-house staff, including servers, hosts, and baristas, ensuring team cohesion and high performance
Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth food production and timely service
Manage customer complaints and resolve issues promptly to uphold guest satisfaction
Implement training programmes related to food safety, serving standards, and hospitality best practices
Monitor cleanliness and presentation standards across the venue
Assist in organising special events or functions as required
Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations and food safety standards
Support in the recruitment process by participating in interviews and staff onboarding
Experience
Proven supervisory experience within a restaurant or hospitality environment
Extensive knowledge of food preparation, cooking, and food safety protocols
Experience in team management with strong leadership qualities
Background in restaurant or hotel operations is highly desirable
Familiarity with food production processes and kitchen experience is advantageous
Previous roles involving serving, hospitality, or barista experience will be considered beneficial
Demonstrated ability to lead a team effectively while maintaining high standards of customer service and operational efficiency
