Front of House Manager

Aurora Wellness & Beauty | Royal Hillsborough

Aurora Wellness & Beauty is a premium, quiet luxury salon in Royal Hillsborough. We are seeking an organised, polished, and highly capable House Manager to oversee front of house operations and ensure every client experience is exceptional from arrival to departure.

This is a key position within the salon. You will be the first point of contact for clients, the operational anchor for therapists, and the standard bearer for presentation, professionalism, and service.

Key Responsibilities



Front of House & Client Experience

Manage the salon diary for all therapists using Ovatu Take, amend, and cancel appointments via phone, email, WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram, and in person Ensure accurate client details are recorded for all bookings Greet all clients warmly, maintain a calm and welcoming environment, and ensure consultations are completed Handle client check-outs, gather feedback, and introduce relevant products, packages, events, and seasonal offers
Patch Testing & Compliance

Ensure all required patch tests are completed and correctly recorded Proactively contact new clients to arrange patch tests at least 48 hours prior to treatment
Sunbed & Infrared Area Management

Ensure all sunbed users are over 18 and have signed the required waivers Advise clients on correct usage based on skin type and previous exposure Ensure correct eyewear is used and aftercare guidance is given Maintain full hygiene standards with sanitisation between clients
Front of House Presentation

Maintain immaculate standards across reception, relaxation areas, communal spaces, walkways, stairs, and sunbed rooms Ensure teas, water, fruit, sorbets, towels, and amenities are consistently stocked Monitor stock levels and inform management of low or out-of-stock items
Laundry & Facilities

Oversee daily laundry ensuring sufficient clean towels for therapists Follow all laundry procedures correctly and safely Ensure no machines are left running or loaded overnight
Bookings, Deposits & Policies

Take booking deposits for all appointments and confirm payment before finalising bookings Clearly explain the cancellation policy to every new client Handle cancellations professionally and consistently in line with salon policy
Client Feedback & Complaints

Acknowledge and document any complaints or concerns with empathy and accuracy Escalate all issues to management promptly with full details
Sales & Product Knowledge

Actively contribute to retail and treatment sales Develop strong product and treatment knowledge across all brands offered in the salon
Social Media Support

Carry out social media posting as directed by management Ensure all posts are professional and include imagery, booking links, and contact details

About You



Highly organised with excellent attention to detail Confident, calm, and professional with exceptional people skills Comfortable handling bookings, payments, and client queries Naturally tidy, proactive, and proud of maintaining high standards Confident with sales and willing to learn detailed product knowledge Experience in a salon, spa, hospitality, or front-of-house role is essential
