Job Brief: Front of House Manager
Position: Front of House Manager

Min 32 Hours Per Week

Pro rata Salary 24,750 per annum

Overtime hourly rate 14.85

Monday - Admin (Remote) 5hrs

Thursday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday (27hrs) - During Service / Live Shows

Location: Pedley Street Station, 63 Pedley Street, London

Responsibilities:



The Front of House Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring a seamless and exceptional guest experience, as well as overseeing hiring and staffing. This role is part administrative but primarily operational on shift during show performances (Thursdays-Sundays showtimes with additional private hires and admin time).

Key responsibilities include:

Guest Experience: Oversee and manage the entire guest experience, ensuring exceptional service from arrival to departure. Hiring and Recruitment: Lead the hiring and recruitment process for front of house staff. Team Leadership: Lead and motivate the front of house team to deliver top-notch service. Scheduling: Create and manage staff schedules, ensuring adequate coverage during shows and events. Training: Train and develop front of house staff to deliver high quality dining experiences, maintain professionalism, and uphold safety standards. Guest Relations: Handle guest inquiries, special requests, and feedback with professionalism and prompt resolution. Venue Presentation: Ensure the venue is impeccably presented, from table settings to decor, in line with the theme. Collaboration: Collaborate with the kitchen, bar, and security teams to ensure a synchronized and memorable experience for guests. Managing guest lists and table plans on the night. Leading on allergy and dietary awareness and management of service with the kitchen and supporting teams.

Requirements:



To excel in this role, you should have:

Previous Hospitality Management: Proven experience in managing front of house operations in the hospitality or entertainment industry. Hiring Experience: Strong skills in hiring, recruitment, and onboarding of front of house staff. Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills to guide and motivate your team. Guest-Focused: A dedication to delivering exceptional guest experiences and addressing inquiries and concerns promptly. Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail to maintain a pristine front of house environment. Effective Communication: Excellent communication skills to interact with guests, staff, and management professionally. Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing show dynamics and guest needs.
