RoBo is a busy, independent Japanese-inspired bar & canteen doing things properly -- great food, great people, no shortcuts. After

organically growing our first RoBo in Falmouth

, we're now opening

our second site

, and we're looking for an experienced

Front of House Manager

to help lead this next chapter.

This is a hands-on role for someone who loves service, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and understands the power of great hospitality

and

great content.

The role

You'll be responsible for the smooth day-to-day running of the front of house while also owning RoBo's social presence at site level.

Key responsibilities include:

Leading, training, and motivating the FOH team Delivering warm, confident, efficient service -- every shift Managing rotas, staffing levels, and labour costs Opening and closing the venue Maintaining service standards, cleanliness, and atmosphere Handling customer feedback professionally and positively Working closely with the kitchen and senior team

Managing day-to-day social media content

(Instagram, stories, reels) Capturing in-venue content: food, drinks, team, service, atmosphere Posting regularly and engaging with the RoBo community online Supporting promotions, launches, and events through social media Supporting recruitment and onboarding of new team members
About you

Previous experience as a

FOH Manager / Supervisor

(or ready to step up) Confident using

Instagram and social platforms

in a brand-appropriate way A good eye for content -- real, engaging, and on-brand Calm, organised, and confident under pressure A natural leader -- fair, supportive, and hands-on Passionate about hospitality and great food & drink Strong communication skills Flexible to work evenings and weekends
