We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Front of House Manager to lead our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive restaurant or hotel experience, preferably in an high end non chain restaurant and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee daily operations, ensure food safety standards are maintained, and foster a welcoming environment for guests. The position is paid and suitable for individuals with supervisory experience and a background in food preparation, cooking, or hospitality management.

Duties

Supervise front of house staff, including serving personnel and hosts, ensuring high standards of service are maintained Oversee daily restaurant operations, including reservations, guest relations, and staff scheduling Assist with food preparation and cooking when necessary to support kitchen staff during busy periods Manage team performance through coaching, training, and motivating staff to deliver excellent customer experiences Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards across all front of house activities Handle guest complaints promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service flow during peak hours Organise team meetings and training sessions to promote professional development within the team Maintain a welcoming atmosphere that reflects the organisation's standards of hospitality

Requirements

Proven supervising experience within a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environment Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food production and service Experience in food preparation, cooking, or culinary roles is highly desirable Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively during busy periods Previous experience in serving or hospitality roles such as barista or front desk management is advantageous Good communication skills with a friendly and professional demeanour Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required by the business needs

Pay: 28,500.00-35,000.00 per year
