Front of House Manager
At Denham Grove Hotel
This role is for someone to take responsibility for Front of House Department within the venue, to ensure the Department delivers a high quality service to the customers, maximising on all sales opportunities and controlling costs and payroll as per budget in order to exceed expectations. By providing leadership and direction, you will ensure delivery of great customer service at best possible cost within brand guidelines and satisfying legal requirements.
The Role:
Understand completely all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines and training programs.
Ensure that all guests feel welcome and are given responsive, friendly and courteous service at all times.
Achieve company objectives in sales, service, quality, appearance of facility, and sanitation and cleanliness through training of employees and creating a positive, productive working environment.
Control cash and other receipts by adhering to cash handling and reconciliation procedures in accordance with restaurant policies and procedures.
Fill in where needed to ensure guest service standards and efficient operations
Continually strive to develop your staff in all areas of managerial and professional development.
Implement dynamic operational working procedures, to support the delivery of service excellence
Lead monthly management report meetings with the client and build strong relationships with key business leaders
Strong detail analysis of service delivery and identify continuous improvements
Monitor the team's performance promoting achievements and identifying weaker areas for improvement
The Candidate:
You will currently be in a FOH Manager role or Senior Reception Supervisor looking for your next step and possess an integral understanding of reception management strategy
You will have strong financial and commercial drive with a proven track record of success and results.
You are a self-motivated manager who is highly visible to all areas of the business.
An Industry professional who is looking for a rewarding challenge and takes ownership of running a business.
Strong leadership and communication style with the ability to engage with people at all levels, having a natural coaching and supportive management style.
Hands-on approach and proven ability to work under pressure dealing with guest issues
You will have aspirations to reposition and take this business forward.
You will be well organised and detail orientated
Have a flexible approach and be able to adapt quickly to change.
Must Haves:
Front Office management experience
High level of IT proficiency
Excellent grooming standards
Ability to work under pressure
Experience at training, coaching and developing teams
High level of commercial awareness and sales capabilities
Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills
Commitment to delivering a high level of customer service
