Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Salon Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our salon, providing exceptional customer service while supporting our talented stylists and beauticians. This position is perfect for individuals who are passionate about the beauty industry and/or worked within the industry previously and possess strong organizational skills to ensure a smooth running salon.

Duties

Greet clients warmly upon arrival and ensure a welcoming atmosphere. Manage appointment bookings efficiently, optimizing the schedule for both clients and staff. Provide information, assisting clients in selecting treatments/products that best suit their needs. Handle front desk operations, including answering phone calls, making general bookings and responding to emails, enquiries and any issues that arise with bookings- ensure it is deal with and managed efficiently and professionally. Promote additional services through effective upselling techniques to enhance client experience. Assist in mentoring junior staff members, fostering a supportive learning environment. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the salon space, ensuring all areas are well-presented, managing assistants to ensure all tasks are completed. Use initiative to enhance client experience as and when needed. Manage inventory levels and assist with stock management as required.

Experience

The ideal candidate will possess:

Previous experience within the hairdressing/ beauty or wellness industry. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members alike. Experience in store management or front desk operations is desirable. A passion for mentoring others and contributing to a positive team environment. Looking for a long term position to grow within the salon. Experience within high end salons/ customer service role, 5 establishments.
Strong Mental Skill set to manage difficult issues.
