Duties

Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, providing a friendly first impression. Take orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all customer requests are met. Serve food and beverages in a timely manner, adhering to presentation standards. Assist with catering events, ensuring all aspects are executed flawlessly. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth communication regarding orders and dietary requirements. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including dining tables and service stations. Support food preparation tasks as needed, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. Handle payments and manage cash registers with accuracy. Provide barista services when required, demonstrating knowledge of coffee preparation techniques.

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is highly desirable. Familiarity with catering services will be considered an advantage. Experience in serving food and beverages, along with knowledge of food safety practices. Barista experience is beneficial but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate. A positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well under pressure are crucial for success in this role.
