Job Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Front of House Staff to join our new restaurant opening on the RAF base in Lakenheath. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere and delivering exceptional service. Your responsibilities will encompass various tasks that contribute to the overall dining experience, from greeting patrons to assisting with food preparation.

Duties

Greet and seat guests promptly, providing menus and information about daily specials. Take orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all dietary requirements are noted. Serve food and beverages in a timely manner, maintaining high standards of presentation. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including tables and service stations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless communication regarding orders and special requests. Uphold food safety standards at all times, ensuring compliance with health regulations. Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, striving for guest satisfaction.

Skills

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is highly desirable. Knowledge of food preparation techniques and catering services is an advantage. Strong serving skills with a focus on customer service excellence. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices. Barista experience is a plus for those interested in beverage service. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a friendly disposition. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Pay: 12.21-12.75 per hour
