Duties

Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a positive first impression. Take orders accurately and efficiently, providing recommendations when necessary. Serve food and beverages in a timely manner while maintaining high standards of presentation. Assist with food preparation and ensure compliance with food safety regulations. Support catering events by setting up and breaking down service areas as required. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including tables, counters, and service stations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and guest satisfaction. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to enhance the dining experience.

Skills

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is highly desirable. Strong catering skills with the ability to assist in event setups and service. Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations. Experience as a barista is an advantage, particularly in coffee preparation and service. Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanour to engage effectively with guests. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
