Responsibilities

Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a friendly and inviting atmosphere. Assist with seating arrangements and manage reservations efficiently. Take food and beverage orders accurately and promptly relay them to the kitchen or bar staff. Serve food and drinks to customers, ensuring presentation meets our high standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations. Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism, providing solutions to enhance their experience. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and service. Adhere to food safety standards and hygiene regulations at all times. Assist with catering events as required, contributing to the success of special occasions.

Requirements

Previous experience in a hospitality or restaurant environment is preferred but not essential. Skills in catering, bartending, food safety, and food preparation are advantageous. Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanour to interact effectively with guests and team members. Ability to work well under pressure in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail. A proactive approach to helping others, ensuring that guest needs are met promptly. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required by the business needs.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.21-15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 50 per week
