Pay

You will also receive service charge on top of the hourly rate (currently around 2 per hour). You would be contracted for 30 hours per week with the understanding that the demands of your role may require flexibility, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Front of House Team Member to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will be the face of our establishment, responsible for providing exceptional guest services and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. You will play a crucial part in delivering an outstanding dining experience by assisting with food preparation, serving, and maintaining high standards of food safety.

Responsibilities

Greet and welcome guests with a friendly and professional demeanour. Take orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all guest preferences are noted. Serve food and beverages in accordance with established service standards. Assist in food preparation as needed, adhering to food safety guidelines. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including dining spaces and service counters. Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism and resolve issues promptly. Upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service delivery. Perform basic math calculations for order processing and billing purposes.

Skills

Strong hospitality skills with a passion for delivering excellent guest services. Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable, particularly in a front of house role. Knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques is advantageous. Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately. Time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively during busy periods. Experience in serving or kitchen roles is beneficial but not essential; training will be provided. Ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining a positive guest interaction.
