Summary

Working closely with Field Service (FS) Director and rest of FS Managers, this person will be responsible of managing FS planning activities across EMEA area, leading the different regional leaders.

General role responsibilities include (but not limited to):

  • Ensuring the communication flow among the team members and with internal and external stakeholders. Assess the communication channels and/or the level of service provision in the team.
  • Support your line manager in the management of FS activities and in providing guidance and support to the rest of the FS team (e.g. follow up of KPIs, Mirai process, FS tenders, OEM capabilities development, etc.)
  • Monitor, manage and ensure effective first-level response and/or support by your team for planned and unplanned service contracts/outages.
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills with customers and provide guidance and support to your team in customer communication/ internal/external negotiation and implementation meetings as required.
Work closely with Managers from other departments and maintain strong internal working relationships with personnel from the Engineering, FS and PM teams for
  • outage-related matters (planning, development of outage documents, customer meeting, resource planning, Outage reports, safety documentation, etc.).
  • Assist key personnel with the proposal development (work scope documents, Division of Responsibilities document, etc.).
  • Assist with the outage implementation budget control and ensure your team establish good working relationships with external customers
  • Coordinate with other FS Managers and FS teams in different countries for outages (cross utilization) optimizing the use of personnel on site.
You will also need to work closely with the Programme Management & Commercial teams along with Service Directors to develop cost estimates for new or revised GT, Generator and ST service proposals.
  • Lead FS regional organization in terms of outage planning, execution and reporting.
  • Ensure the smooth execution of the following up planning checklists, contingency plans preparation (coordination between CSE/FS/PM for preparation and CRE/QHSE for local vendor development,\xe2\x80\xa6) and outage resource allocation (TA and manpower)
  • Cost control during outage execution leadership together with the PM team
  • Lead PM activities for Steam to power business in Germany (transactional business in Walsum and Wilhelmshaven)
  • Lead manpower strategy in EMEA region together with the FS and PM Directors, coordinating with PMs from the different locations the vendors allocation. This includes possible new vendors development, framework agreements and any other activity to ensure outages are properly manned.
The person

To be considered for this role you should

have a proven related experience and/or relevant skill and knowledge for more than 8 years working for Power Plants sector
