A rare opportunity to join our busy kitchen team has arisen!
We are looking for a full-time Chef to support our existing kitchen team so that we can continue to deliver a unique brunch experience in the heart of Brighouse! A Chef will support the Head Chef to ensure the kitchen meets all regulations including hygiene/food safety guidelines. They are also involved with the day-to-day smoothness of operations within the kitchen, helping to deliver an exceptional hospitality experience.
The ideal candidate will:
- Have previous experience of working in a kitchen.
- Be confident in managing and working a busy brunch service.
- Have strong communication skills - the role will involve working closely with the Front of House staff to ensure the operational smoothness of the shift.
- Feel confident in preparing and cooking dishes according to the menu specifications as set by the Head Chef.
- Be creative with a keen eye for detail - there are opportunities for menu/specials development.
The ideal candidate will be versatile enough to perform a range of duties such as:
- Have a clear understanding of and adhere to food hygiene, health and safety practice including record keeping in line with due diligence rules.
- Assisting with basic kitchen preparations ready for brunch service.
- Unloading fresh supplies and organising our stock room.
- Checking dates and a rotating stock.
- Keeping back of house areas clean and tidy and ensuring cleaning standards are always upheld.
