As we are getting busier a rare opportunity to work full time in our kitchen has arisen!
We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team. As a Chef, you will be responsible for day to day kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards of food preparation and presentation, while also assisting the Head and Sous Chef where needed. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering exceptional dining experiences.
35-40 hours, 5 day working week
Responsibilities
Ensuring service is conducted efficiently and managing your time efficiently to ensure prep tasks and service are achieved quickly but to a high standard
Helping with stock levels, checking fridges daily to maintain stock rotation
In the absence of the Head Chef and Sous chef helping with ordering required for the next day
Daily cleaning, maintaining a high level of cleanliness across all areas of the kitchen and storage spaces to a 5 star standard
Manage food production processes, including inventory control and waste management
Develop new menu items that reflect current culinary trends while maintaining the restaurant's unique style
Communicate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction
Experience
Proven kitchen experience as a Chef is a must but full train will given by our lovely team
Excellent culinary skills with a deep understanding of food preparation techniques
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
A passion for cooking and creativity in developing new dishes that enhance the dining experience
