We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team for our busy Christmas period, including Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Boxing Day. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in food production and preparation, with a strong background in hospitality and restaurant environments.
This is a 3 month contract starting from 1st October 2025.
Responsibilities
Working alongside our in-house Chef to manage the daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food production and preparation processes.
Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in accordance with health regulations.
Working alongside our in-house Chef to manage inventory, including ordering supplies and minimising waste.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
Monitor food presentation and quality to ensure consistency and excellence in every dish served.
Skills
Proven supervising experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Strong culinary experience with a focus on cooking techniques and food preparation methods.
Excellent team management skills, with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse team.
In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable, along with a passion for hospitality.
Exceptional leadership abilities, with strong communication skills to liaise effectively with both kitchen and service staff.
