Duties

Oversee all aspects of food preparation and production to ensure quality and consistency. Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and performance. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen at all times. Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless service delivery. Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage food costs effectively. Train new kitchen staff on cooking techniques, safety practices, and restaurant policies. Maintain high standards of hospitality by ensuring every dish meets presentation and taste expectations.

Qualifications

Strong supervisory experience with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively. Extensive knowledge of food production techniques, cooking methods, and presentation styles. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen hygiene. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire team members. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in both food preparation and service. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards. A passion for culinary arts and commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences.

Pay: 12.21-13.22 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 40 per week
