Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children. This role involves managing the daily activities within the nursery, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow. The Nursery Practitioner will be responsible for fostering positive relationships with both children and parents, while promoting effective communication and teamwork within the nursery setting.

Duties

Manage daily nursery operations, ensuring a safe and stimulating environment for children. Plan and implement engaging activities that promote learning and development in line with early years frameworks. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to build strong relationships. Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents as necessary. Drive initiatives that enhance the nursery's educational offerings and overall experience for children. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the nursery space, ensuring all resources are available and well-maintained. Collaborate with team members to support each child's individual needs, fostering an inclusive atmosphere.

Experience

Proven experience in childcare or early childhood education is essential. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting is highly desirable. A relevant qualification in early childhood education or childcare is preferred but not mandatory.
