We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic encompass taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for our guests.
Duties
Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner.
Take accurate food and drink orders, ensuring all dietary requirements are noted.
Serve food and beverages promptly while adhering to food safety standards.
Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including tables and service stations.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism, ensuring satisfaction at all times.
Assist in training new staff members on restaurant procedures and service standards.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred.
Strong knowledge of food safety practices and culinary standards.
Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
Excellent time management skills to efficiently manage multiple tables during busy periods.
Experience in guest services with a focus on creating positive dining experiences.
Ability to upsell menu items effectively while maintaining customer satisfaction.
