About the Role:

We are seeking a reliable, hardworking, and experienced

Gardener/Maintenance Person

to join our team on a temporary basis. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working both indoors and outdoors and takes pride in keeping all spaces clean, safe, and well-maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

Gardening:

Mowing lawns, strimming, hedge trimming, weeding, and general garden upkeep Planting, pruning, watering, and seasonal planting work Maintaining flower beds, borders, and green spaces Monitoring plant health and identifying pests or diseases

Maintenance:

Carrying out minor repairs and general upkeep of outdoor buildings, fences, and pathways Cleaning and maintaining outdoor areas, tools, and equipment Ensuring walkways and common areas are tidy and safe

Internal Building Maintenance (additional duties):

Carrying out basic repairs. Performing minor carpentry, plumbing, or painting tasks as needed Ensuring communal areas and well-maintained Conducting regular safety checks and reporting any hazards or maintenance issues Assisting with setting up rooms or moving furniture and equipment for events or seasonal needs. Supporting routine inspections and liaising with contractors where necessary.

Requirements:

Previous experience in gardening and/or maintenance work Good knowledge of plants, gardening tools, and outdoor equipment Basic DIY skills and general maintenance knowledge Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision Health and safety awareness.

Preferred:

Full UK driving licence (desirable, not essential) Relevant horticulture or maintenance qualifications (desirable, not essential)

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week (exact hours can be discussed)
Job Types: Full-time, Temporary
Contract length: 5 months

Pay: 13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
